  • Candidates can use the question booklet for rough working, but should not write any working out on the answer sheet.
  • Candidates should attempt to answer as many questions as they can. If they find a question that they cannot answer, they should move on to the next question until they reach the end of the section.
  • Candidates will not lose marks for incorrect answers.
  • If there is time left at the end of a section, candidates should go back and answer any questions they have missed, but within that section only
  • What is the cost of a test session?

Each session [covering VR and English, NVR and Numerical Reasoning (Maths)] is £60.

    This includes,

  • Your child’s marked tests, results via email.
  • Summary of your child's progress & areas in need of improvement.
  • Review of the test.
  • Detailed feedback reports and analysis.
  • What is the Refund/Amendment Policy?

Session Bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE since spaces are limited. We regret that we cannot refund session bookings unless the test day in question is cancelled by us or details of the test day are significantly changed by us (for example, time, venue, date etc).

    Parents Questions

May I settle my child in the exam room?

Registration will take place at the reception. Parents will not be allowed to accompany your child into the exam room itself.

    What time must we arrive?

All candidates must be ready to enter the exam room when the session opens. Therefore, please ensure you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the session to ensure you are able to find parking and get to the registration table in time.

It is important to allow time for a quick visit to the toilet just before the session too. Facilities are at the exam room.

Can I wait at the Test Centre while my child sits the test?

There is unfortunately no facility within the test centres for parents to wait due to the demand; however there are selections of interesting establishments which parents can spend time. For example the Ilford Exchange Mall and the Ilford Library are just 7 minutes walk from Ark Tuition Centre.
